At least they included most sumeru chars into the archon quest unlike Inazuma where over half of them just popped up out of nowhere after everything was already over, so players don't have any kind of bond with them except for liking the design

Artifacts need to have a main stat, no random substats. Then, once you get an artifact to max level, you can fuse another artifact into your first one to add the fused artifact's main stat as a substat. Repeat 4x.

And tbh for abyss even relatively mediocre builds will do, team synergies and having the proper elements for the situation are far more important than difference of 50cv in a build that takes you a year of farming a domain to get
Wanting the perfect 50cv piece with no dead stats in every slot is just unrealistic and at the same time chasing that dream is what keeps players logging in even if they have nothing else left to do in the game. Don't forget the money they make off players that max resin-refill every single day
