I only have like 130-ish pieces that are +20, but I don't gear every character.

Well a +20 is 280k artifact exp and mora without multipliers, if you only run domains then 20 resin is 8k artifact exp if you exclude the 5 star piece that you wanna keep or use for strongbox, so about 35+20 resin runs and 93 resin worth of mora totals 793 Resin for a single +20

I currently have 437 +20 pieces

On average I'd say 800 resin would be quite accurate as the x2/x5 multipliers and the 20% exp loss when foddering a +20 piece negate each other

Their attack pattern isn't complicated. They do have a deployable that you can break too stun them, but it's not necessary

The beasts are easy, the jumping attacks have the typical circle that fills indicating when to dodge and for the multi hit charges, just i-frame with burst
