Yeah but getting a good enough artifact is rng, levelling up a weapon isn’t. You are guaranteed to increase dmg by doing that. Of course equipping any crit dmg circlet vs having none will do the same, but that still takes rng that you don’t get def% circlet, is my point. When someone is unsure on what to do, they can at least focus on guaranteed ways to raise their dmg while they learn and farm :)

eh, you'll still do better with level 20 trash artifacts than nothing but weapon and character. Granted this would be a waste, but it would still be more valuable.

They ain’t the base grounds, but yeah obviously they are an essential part of having a character do dmg. It’s just about wiser ways to spend time, assuming their characters aren’t fully levelled. The perfect artifiact set ain’t gonna do much if they’re talent level 4-6

You don’t need 40 CV artifacts to clear content. You can also use the same set on multiple characters if you want. Get like main stats with decent off-subs for starters then worry about min-maxing.

Yeah. Ok. So here's the thing. The "true_luck" function is computationally expensive and falls apart with like 4000 wishes. I have some other functions that are similar, but faster to compute.
The true luck wasn't even pushed up to the repo for that reason.
The PR functions are more fleshed out, and use the PDFs and not the Rate at pity X.
There's a little lookup table in the pushed code
