As in, at the start they're fine, but then you need specific cards, decks etc. and as time goes and meta shifts, they either release powerfully insane cards that you MUST have and that you have to grind/pay up lots $$ (or get insanely lucky if it's a random drop)... or some of the old cards are insanely imabalanced (but rare) so new people don't have any way to get them

most TCG's limit what you can use, particularly those older cards that are unbalanced. If you're playing unlimited and you don't have the rare cards, ya take your chances. If you're just playing it doesn't really matter, but if it's a tournament or something, you have to at least assume people gonna have them.

If we talk about general Units without their 4-5* limitation it would be zhongli, kazuha and bennett just being a game changer in their respective right (generally making u switch ur playstyle in whole)

makes him buff more than rancour and need a lot less energy to get his burst back up
the passives are weak, but 4cr, faster move and atk spd, and slight bonus damage occurs just from hitting an enemy
bennetts burst increases everyones atk based on his base atk, so bennett will generally want a weapon with as high base atk as you can get.
imo though, the highest you can get plus er is the easiest to use. i currently use sapwood blade since it matches rancour and has er for a substat
