Different situation with Honkai. NA is a patch behind CN unlike Genshin where everyone is on the same schedule. Anyone who is trying to be competitive about Honkai embrace the info from the betas because you have to plan your crystals way more strictly than primos.

Because you need certain characters in Honkai because the content is tailored to those new units. In Genshin, you can clear the Abyss with characters the game gives you with enough investment in them.
