Xinqu with Sacrificial in my personal opinion can potentially be a main dps, but that's only because he can just do that much damage,

If you're fine with complex playstyle Tartaglia is a pretty good maindps, but if you're simple I'd highly recommend Ayato because if you build him right he easily pushes out 10-20k per hit with his E

Childe is really good at just clearing stuff when there's a nice amount of enemies (But can still do a ton of damage as seen in nuke showcases),

while Ayato is just really good at putting out consistent damage, and even in multi-enemy scenarios as long as you just position right you can still hit all the enemies, and his E has nice range.

Even in the Xiao/Ayato artifact domain the the Chasm Ayatos E (Not always though) can hit all 3 of the mechs
