There's literally a whole chapter in the first Nier that is literally just text based, also several instances through Nier/Automata that is just text. I personally don't see the problem in Genshin having occasional bouts of just having what's "going on" in text, but that's just my opinion

then went and talked to the girl

and when I brought her there, the sweet flowers spawned again
