I can't really think of any events that lock you out with AR unless you literally just started playing, and even then most events are usually ~20-30 which is super achievable within a week of playing, so unless that day you made an acc and there's less than a week for the event I wouldn't really worry

The biggest lock I can think of that events have had is story related. (queue event or two that was locked behind basically having main story fully complete)

But thankfully they've been adding a "Skip to event" button on major events

Not really, been playing daily for the past 7 years or so, dodge is an action of itself, that gives the enemy disadvantage, and if you mean a Dex saving throw, rolling a 2 just usually means taking full damage from the attack/trap. Not per se instant death.

If you don't have rainslasher then yea prototype is just easy(er) to get it took forever for one of my friends to get it, Rainslasher is actually really good on him but you have to double down on the gorilla glue that is only ever running Diluc and Xinqu together.
