I'm pretty sure you'd be fine, it does get kind of confusing bc Genshin never really explicitly mentions how the character/weapon pity is decided, but I think if u go around 200 pulls without ever getting a 5* weapon, then you will get a 5* weapon next and vice versa, I could be a bit wrong on that though lol
