though its fuel cost is really what needs to be changed

With no jobs, I do wish the vtol hover mode was buffed. With a max speed of like 80 knots for a fast spacecraft, something like 150-200 knots would be nice.

The vtol buff wouldn't make it any more at good atracing and for the 2-3 races it can do it has no chance vs a Su-57 or F-15c/Active.

About on par with X-15 but more range for less speed. Still paying for fuel and massive overhaul costs.

And X-15 is already not that good for money making on nearly any of the races.

The R-505U was giving stats inline with that of a great SST making it one of the best chaining aircraft in the game. With X-50 being on the same tier, maybe a race job could be reasonable.

Its mainly annoying because as a spaceplane it should just run out of fuel instead of falling down would be nice to just redo the stats a bit

Aeronautica doesn't have the enigne physics to do that sadly. The only vehicles that had effectually infinite celling was the Viper Mk.II and FV4034 Challenger II aka Flying tank. It is a space craft and just so happens to be interstellar and isn't bond to the limitation of being in earth's atmosphere unlike X-15.
