#Change the code for the Falcon 20GT
62 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)

Can't believe I'm doing this
Maybe change it to like, F20G, or F2GT
This also applies to the 20GTF btw, since it's code is FA2GF
which is EVEN WORSE
It really needs a change
-# I don't even care about the self react, someone needs to see this
really doesnt seem close to a british cigar to me
its like saying we should change the number six
its literally the F-slur but with a number placed in the middle of it, id argue its very similar
if you typed out the aircraft code in roblox chat it would instantly get tagged irregardless of age group or other factors that influence what gets filtered or not
Dassault Falcon 20, not the 20GT
It:s not a suggestion for the wiki specifically, it's for the aircraft in-game (unless it's only in the wiki)
is this another "Harding -> Harden" situation because roblox is ass
well the difference is that the callsign is literally one letter away from being a slur
so
i understand it this time
ICAO type designator do not account variants, only the manufacturer and the model
yes I know, I meant in aeronautics tho where it is different
Again, the International Civil Aviation Organization does not account variants
If you try to type or find Sukhoi-30MKK, it will result as SU27, which is the base variant
The ICAO will only account such if the MTOW changes (i.e. 737, 739)
I think I'm misunderstanding what you're trying to say..
Thats understandable, but if that applied to the game, players would not be able to accurately tell what other players are flying
helo dank
Does it really matter?
i mean yeah that's the entire point of adding aircraft codes to aero, so you know what the other person is using
Why do you need to know what they are flying?

really
i'm sorry if this seems kind of rude but like, have you ever played aeronautica before
Im also sorry to be rude, but have you played as an air traffic controller before?
Because i certainly have and only give a fuck about the pilot’s MTOW
from an ingame perspective, the aircraft type can tell you their takeoff speed (and acceleration) which determines minimum runway length and thus which runways an aircraft can use safely
ultimately mtow/weight in general doesnt matter if were looking purely at the practical/ingame effects on performance
if you want to roleplay other aspects you would also look at wake turbulence generation which would vary depending on the aircraft type, larger aircraft would generate more wake turbulence which may cause queued aircraft on the same runway (for arrivals or departures) to wait before entering the runway
Hm guess we should just remove codes from the minimap then
FA20
FA20F
FA20G
FA20GF
The last one already has 5 letters ingame so it's not like we're going for absolute realism here
Or
FA20
F20F
F20G
F20GF
so what bro? does it really matter that much to you?
i have never seen a 20gt in the wild and no way you are taking that much offense
doubling down i doubt you took any offense and just wanted a free suggestion
i'm not offended by it, i never said i was, i'm just saying that it's an issue because
1: it looks a lot like the word
2: roblox doesn't let you say it because of how close it is
it's as simple as changing the code to smth like F20GT instead
or as i said before F2GT
actually even that one looks a bit too close
but you get my point
bro i have never saw the code as a substitute for any slur your interpretation ≠ intent
but i respect your suggestion as you believe you are looking out for people who may possibly be offended
Or just like what Foxtrot said earlier, Falcon 20GT is FA20. No compromises.
"Oh I need to know what vro is flying over there above Tomfoolery" yeah just come over then, their bastardized FA20 still can only takeoff with 13 tonnes of whatever it is onboard & can't even go supersonic
Hey guys, I got the all-new FA2G
