Autopilot is already in #rejected-suggestions , sorry my man, it really defeats the purpose of the game to have autoland and shit, and auto pilot is sort of already in game by pressing = iirc, it levels the plane out

On a more serious note, A/P is cool but complex A/P guarantees the game to turn to GAG. Maybe altitude hold makes sense as it's considered as basic A/P as the plane auto-adjusts its' level and altitude.
