Ive been cooking this one up for a bit but currently the Battleships and Aircraft Carriers are basically USELESS other than for showing off you wasted 50 hours of your life to get that boat.
This would not be your typical surv mission but the way I think it could work is you first depart your airports harbour with your carrier or battleship. You would get to a designated spot to launch your seaplane (on battleships) or helicopters/Jets (on carriers). You would do your typical surv mission with your plane, land beside your battleship to pick it up or land on your carrier to finish the fly by and return to base on your boat.
This also brings me to my next point on how the hell this would even work.
Well, most players already know that the game has the Yamato, Iowa, Nimitz and Admiral Hipper, Yamato and Iowa being battleships and Nimitz and Admiral Hipper being Carriers.
The game currently dose not have many seaplanes. Nor the ones used on the battleships in game.
Ill talk about the planes later but the way this could work is either you buy one of these boats and the designated plane(s) already come with it or you have to buy the planes seperatly.
The Nimitz would be the easiest one to do as the F-14 and E-2C are already in the game. You also have the Naval Version of the Blackhawk that can be used.
I cant find any info on the Admiral Hipper but my best guess would be that planes like the F4F and F4U could be used for that one. (The F4F is not it the game so the Corsair could go solo)
The Yamato during its service carried two aircraft. The Mitsubishi F1M2 and Aichi E13A. The F1M2 had a range of 740km a speed of 370km/h and a service ceiling of 30,970ft. The E13A had a range of 2,000km a speed of 376km/h and a service ceiling of 28,640ft. Both planes are currently not in game.
The Iowa had OS2U Seaplanes. With a range of 1,461km a speed of 270km/h and a service ceiling of 18,200ft.
This probably wont get added but I think its worth a shot.
