VTOL Corporate Transport
The TriFan 600 is a vertical take off transport aircraft currently being developed by XTI Aerospace.
The Trifan is designed as a best of both worlds VTOL aircraft, combining the versatility of a helicopter with the speed of a plane, with a focus on a primary use-case of corporate transit and light charter whilst also filling other roles such as Medical transport.
The most striking design feature of the TriFan is... well.. the powerplant.. Three Ducted Fans propelled by 2 Turboshaft engines operating on 100% sustainable aviation fuels - two of which pivot on a cross-shaft ahead of the wing allowing for variable direction of thrust, with a third located aft serving purely for VTOL operation.
The TriFan 600 has been presented at numerous airshows in multiple different scale model representations in addition to a functional 1/6 scale demonstrator performing tethered takeoff tests to demonstrate the functionality of it’s powertrain and design. XTI has received over 700 conditional pre-orders for the aircraft.

VTOL airplanes that save time with increased range point-to-point travel for commercial, medical, and government use
The XTI TriFan 600 is a vertical takeoff and landing aircraft currently under development by XTI Aircraft Company. The TriFan 600 is referred to as a Vertical Lift Crossover Airplane (VLCA) by XTI to differentiate its range and speed from the many short-range, low-speed electric VTOL (eVTOL) aircraft under development.
