Light Seaplane

The Novotech Seagull is a hybrid seaplane being developed by Novotech Aerospace Advanced Technology.

The most unique feature of the Seagull is it’s wing design - The main wing is hinged with struts, thus giving them folding utility and allowing for easier storage and transportation. The rear stabilizer sports a unique V-tail design, an attribute rarely incorporated to an aircraft of this size. The main construction extensively consists of composite materials, both reducing overall weight and offering improved rigidity. The craft is propelled by either a Rotax 912 ULS or an innovative hybrid-electric powerplant, motorizing a pusher prop nestled atop the fuselage.

Despite the Seagull featuring a rather advanced construction for such a small aircraft, it is all available at “low-cost”, according to Novotech.
