Some planes have their lights fixed to a landing gear, which makes them float when you retract the gear.
My suggestion is to have these lights off when the gear is retracted.
The problem is that some planes have other lights that aren't fixed to the gear, but you either have to deal with the floating lights or you can have no landing lights. A lot of pilots turn landing lights on whenever they're under 10,000 feet, not just for take-off or landing.

A330-200F already has this feature in livery viewer but the nose gear light is missing ingame. Why isn't this made standard?
a lot of planes have it actually
vice versa for the lockheed tristars which don't show any front gear lights ingame
most useless landing/taxi lights on a plane ever

I noticed this on the Saab 340B
in viewer the front gear light is toggled with gear (when on)
but in-game it doesn't exist
it used to be floating at some point
Also tons of planes ingame are missing nose lights instead because the lights can’t toggle with gear
Which means that most every single new plane has useless landing lights that don’t illuminate forward
