Losing the UP and flight time credits for an entire flight is too harsh for a crash that ends a long chain of jobs. I was up to 2.8x (28 landings!) when I crashed on approach because I'm in a small busy house and got interrupted. Also, fling glitches on runways cause a lot of crashes for newer players who don't yet know which airports to avoid during job chains. It's not right to be punished for stuff that's beyond our control.

Preferably, only the UP and flight time credit from the last job in the chain should be lost; minus 1/x where x= the job modifier times ten, which is equal to the number of successful landings in the job chain.
Losing all the time and UP from a chain adds some risk and balancing to what is a really powerful feature, so I don't agree
The part about flinging is a problem but the solution is actually fixing it (as unlikely as it may be) and not rewarding every single crash
there is a difference between difficulty and tediousness
losing everything because of a bug is tedious, and literally nobody likes it
it will take probably over a year to fix the bugs that cause planes to fling (and helicopter flight bugs will never be fixed because editing them is denied) so the least you can do for now is put some kind of bandaid on while you fix the main problem
also UP is not a powerful feature when you’re allowed to use an auto clicker and spin around in circles in a blimp for 20 hours at a time
the only people that find it a “powerful feature” are the overpriced plane resellers that live for the economy and being rich and not actually for flying planes
What bothers me the most is the lost flight time credit, which delays the associated badges.
For most of my job chains so far I didn't know the entire flight's time and UP were being trashed. So, for my first couple of weeks I was doing job chains until a fling would kill me. I thought that my UP was capped because it didn't go up for a whole week!!! I don't think enough players know about that penalty. The game only says that you pay some money for each crash. That notice should include the cost to UP and flight time too.
