(Nato Reporting Name: Flounder)

The JH-7 is a Chinese Fighter-Bomber developed and produced by the Xi'an Aircraft Industrial Corporation. It was designed in the 1980s to replace the aging Harbin H-5s and Nanchang Q-5s in service with the PLAAF. The first prototypes flew in December 1988, and fully entered service in 2004. As of 2018, over 270 of the aircraft have been built.
