Let me cook: Day 2
Airlines and indivdual have to pay taxes in real life, so why don't you bring this to Aeronautica?
1. Aircraft Taxes
For a new purchased aircraft, a tax (20% is used in this suggestion) should be added to the aircraft. I understand this might slightly inflate the prices, so that here is a more precise plan.
For lower tier planes (GA + SE + ME), taxes should be included in the current price which would still be convenient to newer players.
Remos GX
Base = 750 WP
Tax = 150 WP (+20%)
For higher tier planes (Late Jets, SST, Late Boats Airships, VTOL), taxes should be calculated externally.
Lockheed L-2000
Base = 160,000 WP
Tax = 32,000 WP (+15%)
For Adv. Customization:
Rolls-Royce RB211-524B (Engine)
Base = 2,500 WP
Tax = 500 WP
You get the concept
1.1 Emission Tax
The one suggestion I was about to refer to combusted so let me repeat here
Different fuel creates different rates, which again creates another factor for players to balance price - reward. This links to yesterday's suggestion - #1246932191871500358 .
For example
Biofuel: 7.5% Over Current Pressed Overflight Fee
Jet Fuel (Kerosene / Naphtha): 15% Over Current Pressed Overflight Fee
AvGas (GA): 3% (You are not going anywhere with a GA are you)
...and other fuel that I am too lazy to mention
2. Property Tax
1. Total Aircraft Periodically
For every aircraft owned, some tax has to be paid periodically. (In this section I will be using the "scrap price" as example, which is 10% of the total plane's price)
John Doe's Inventory
Remos GX = 90 WP
Antonov An-2 = 400 WP
Cessna 172 = 140 WP
2. Base on your Cash + WP count
For your currently owned money, you would be periodically charged tax.
Jane Doe's Balance
Cash = 3,369,420
WP = 2,358,132
Deducted: $336,942 + 235,813 WP (Please round this down)
