Faster planes blow engines faster due to higher wear and tear while slower larger planes can fly for much longer distances

Also another addition to this:
Make higher capacity planes require less stopovers to complete a job chain loop.

Right now it’s set at 22 stops. Some planes like KR860 can’t even access enough airports to complete a job chain loop.

Since larger planes can access less airports, they have to fly longer distances to reach far-away airports required for reaching the 22 airport quota for a job-chain loop. Decreasing this to 10 or so would make larger planes more viable for job chains without outclassing smaller ones.

It makes good wp but it flying for longer durations than large craft makes no sense

Letting it make good quick WP for a cheap price is a good idea because then you can upgrade to more expensive planes (higher capacity is usually more expensive) which can fly for longer durations and thus make more wp

there could potentially be a decrease in the amount of surveillance missions that can be accessed in each job roster, thus meaning people may sometimes have to take shorter jobs and thus earn less WP

id you’re gonna be implementing something that will 100% change the aero economy and how players can earn money, do it alongside the airline update. Most airline owners need some method of earning salaries and boat chaining and surveillance are pretty common. You’d basically be killing off a lot of people from joining an airline because airline owners will be less likely to pay much because of the nerf
