and like i said there can be adjustments and balances like limiting the number of trackable planes, or another example, making it so that you can only track rare/very rare/epic rarity planes

rare planes are rarely sold, and very rare/epic rarity planes are so rare the numbers of them being sold wouldn't boost much at all

while we're at it let's remove purchasing with UP because you're more likely to make the amount of up necessary than catch a rare plane on sale

because if i'm not mistaken that system also decreases inflation on a FAR larger scale, yet i've noticed that literally nobody cares
someone can say "why not just do up instead" and to that i say read the post again and see where it says quality of life

difficulty, absolutely, but tediousness is a big nono

the plane's rarity is the difficulty factor. having to avoid flights, watch chat, and repeatedly switch between airports is just tedious and will often discourage people from using the dealership cycle system in the first place which negates the point of having it in the game

not everyone has dual monitors or a big enough monitor to split their screens like that (have you tried doing anything on a laptop with two windows side by side lmao) and afk detection wouldn't just be "he clicked so he's playing", it would be actively taking jobs, flying your plane to different airports and actually landing at places, etc.

could also be made into a smaller notification that isn't as noticeable and harder to spot without actively paying attention to it (much like the cycle/events system is currently)

• people can track only the rare planes and serverhop to farm them
• would drive down the prices of rare planes and make UP worthless
• defeats the point of checking dealerships at all, why not just wait for the notification
• current system already makes sense

i have an average quality windows laptop that I use for my job in software development and I can tell you for a fact that it is way too small to do something like that
afk detection can be tied to the job system and the usage of plane controls (throttle is client sided, i've noticed, that's super easy way to tie an afk detection program to)
when I was checking airports repeatedly before, I was working on photoshop on my main montior and had roblox open on my second, I had to keep glancing at chat because I literally could not see the green or yellow in the corner of my eye

• Preventing the notification from appearing if it's on sale when you join a server could easily avoid that issue
• up would still be a faster way to get the planes and the change would have an incredibly minimal change to the game's economy
• because if you could only track one plane at a time, countless others you may want will likely go on/off sale within the time frame, you'll get rare planes way slower if you only use notifs
• current system makes sense, yes, but it's annoying and could definitely use a lot of QOL changes

not saying the current system is bad, just that it could be better

• up is not a faster way, you have to actively fly + gain the WP to buy the plane, and only flight time counts for UP, not time spent in menus or taxiing
• tracking only one plane is too little a change to be worth adding

• like i said earlier, the notification would dissapear after like 10 seconds. you would have to be extremely precise and check back after exactly 10 minutes each time
• there is only an 18% chance of an epic rarity plane popping up in the 30 hours you would spend flying to get the up for one, and if you're job chaining you are spending very little time on the ground. it would absolutely be faster in 82% of cases to just go after the up method
• i would agree if it wasn't such an easy thing to implement

• theres a 1% chance of any single epic appearing in a single cycle (10 mins)... which means that at least 1 epic is statistically guarenteed to spawn in just under 2 hours. It is more efficient to check dealers if u want ANY epic, and more efficient to spend UP if you want a specific one.
  However...
  adding that feature will drop the prices of epics on player market, thus making UP worthless.

Even though it would make my life 10000000 times easier, i still don't think this is a good idea (see some of the reasons stated above) but what worries me the most is that if this ever gets added (it wont, thank god) the game would eventually get boring, as the rewarding feeling you get when you find a orange (blue partially) will eventuallly be nonexistent and the game would lose one of it's key gameplay mechanics that actually give a reason to play it.
