I've made a Trade Concept for some Practice with Paint.net and was suprised that some people actually liked this Idea. So I decided to post this here (I have read the rules in #rejected-suggestions and am fine with any penalty for this). I also decided to not just dump this here, but actually document of what I have done and why.
- I thought the Player selection menu is fine, no need for revamp here.
- After clicking on the Player you intend to trade with, a new menu would appear.
- I moved the WP and Money input Boxes to the Bottom Right (This is to make room for other features that I preferred)
- For the Aircraft / Parts selection I thought of going with a List design, which is based on the Aircraft hangar design.(A checkmark indicates current aircraft/part you are currently viewing) This makes things a bit more compact.
- Above the Aircraft selection box there are 3 Buttons
-Select aircraft/parts (Switches between aircraft and part selection. This keeps it clean and seperates Aircraft and parts for additional convinience.)
-Filters (Allows to Filter by keywords or Rarity)
-Sort by (Allows to sort the list by rarity (Red on top, white on bottom) or the other way)
- On the Upper right of the menu, there is an Information window, this Desplays information Like The original owner, mileage, name of aircraft and for Parts it would desplay the name of the part, the rarity of the part (derived from the aircraft it belongs to) and amount in inventory (This could be extremely useful if you have multiple types of the same aircraft, but with different stats (aka. ES'd or Unused) to help seperate them)
- In the same window are buttons to add or remove an aircraft. If the "add" button is pressed, the aircraft will dissapear from the available aircraft list (Not 100% sure, for what the "remove" button could be used for)
If a part is selected, a text box would be added to decide the amount of parts
