The best way to grab crates is with your landing gear down so only the gear has to touch the crate hit box

Or if you are in the A7 using your massive airbrake on the bottom of the plane lol

Or using an il72 and dropping the rear stairwell down

since boats pt.3 (when it is eventually added) will add submarines, how about underwater crates ?

they could be marked with a special buoy, with a lamp on it

if the lamp is on, the player can dive with their submarine and pick up the crate

if the lamp is off, that means the crate isn't spawned
