ok so, i've been thinking. We have the lernivo's catapult launch system, would it be possible to modify it to fit a jato system on say the C130?

The way it could work is you can press the button that toggles the catapult to activate the JATO. it then launches your plane and once it reaches say 150 or 200 knots (or a certain amount of time passes) the system disengages and cannot be toggled again untill you land and refuel at a fuel tank (refuel part may be optional its up to the devs)

The difference being that for the JATO system you don't need to actually be halted for it to work, it sorta acts like a one time use afterburner meaning you can use it any time as long as you are on the ground.
