PsychoDragon, when you say you have them turned on—can you be more specific? It sounds like a configuration setting. Have you checked the game's configuration files or server-side settings for any initialization routines? Do new players get flagged correctly? Do you see any errors popping up server logs when a new payer joins? I'm no necromancer, but I can probably conjure some insights if I knew a little more about what spellbook you're working in.
