Stylised Spartan Pack (only default Cavallino so far)

a small teaser for a project i wish to begin, where i remake spartan armor in my own style, maybe eventually moving onto other halo things.

the many textures in the .zip are kinda like the armor coatings in game, they change the colors of the whole armor set.

the textures arent hard to edit at all though, the most you'll need is MS Paint and to understand the textures layout.
if you have any specific pieces of armor you'd like me to make in this style let me know.

and as usual, credit me if you use it anywhere!

So, small update on the models

My damn phone broke. im obviously not making these models on my phone, but it breaking will distract me for some time, and make other day to day tasks a chore without music, or telling the time, or seeing any other important info. and getting it repaired is gonna cost me.

essentially, its gonna make me bored, upset and unmotivated, so expect me to take longer to make any more models for a few days.

sorry if you were hoping for me to get more stuff made soon, hopefully it will get repaired sooner and i can get back to work on these models.
(or ill be so bored while my phone gets repaired that i hyperfocus on the halo models)

hopefully all the ones that i like, and some completely custom ones as you've already seen. mainly im thinking of halo 3 scout, halo reach air assault in the style of MK VII, and all the armor from the first halo infinite battle pass thing (yes that means i will make MK V [B] eventually, but im focusing on the MK VII before starting that.) and also i guess any specific ones people ask me to make.

but im probably just gonna focus on a few more sets before i upload a full version. like 7 - 10 sets of armor.

also something you might notice, for some reason blender treats the shader i did as an emissive texture, so it puts out light that falls onto nearby objects

for the red, i'd say adding a bit more of a maroon-ish color for the accents instead of brown(?) could make it a little better

its not a color shader, its a texture, but in the post there were a few presets for you to choose

its easy to edit, so long as you have MS Paint or an equivalent and understand the textures layout.

Well! I made a text object, converted it to a mesh, limited desolved the result so it was easier to look at. Positioned it over that spot of the chest and extruded it. For now, I am attempting to work on adding a material slot for a transparency texture for that same thing, so anything could be put there.

Otherwise weightpainted it to the Chest and added the deform modifier for the armature.

And there we are with an added material slot.

Personally prefer the 3D numbers.

Most I do with my own UVs on models is Cylinder Projection aligned to the Object. Then gradient from one color to another. Real nice for hair and some clothes.
