hey so i downloaded it and all the materials were purple so i went in and did the find missing files and put it to the textures folder but it said it couldnt find any of the textures
answered myself. it's beautiful...

i had the same problem but i fixed it the problem was not all the textures were extrating
but then i click "extract here" and it worked
it looks like they all extracted for me

I'm asking you what the problem is? Are you having trouble locating textures or some sort of trouble with the shader CCs?
My problem would be if this is the base color of the shaders, or if the collection has some problem that causes the textures not to render correctly and how can I change the colors, to the colors of other astartes chapters of the game, such as the salamenders, or the iron hands?
The game uses a similar color system as Infinite so you'll need to go and manually find the colors you'd like to apply in the shader.

Not for Blender at the very least as we use a custom game accurate shader and not the actual game shading system.

All current decals are like 26 x 26 textures, I think I found their actual textures but without their normal maps lol

I just yanked my own image of a maltese cross off the interwebs and used an addon that projects it onto the shoulder pad
If I remember right it's called Import as Decal

The Sniper Champion is salamanders and is currently a wip mold in the files
The Sniper only has textures and no mold

you know that if a model uses game rig/skelton it can still have Ik and control rigs
thats what my models use they use the game rig/skeleton but then i fix it rename bones and give IK (inverse kinematic) and control rigs

how difficult rigging these models
not hard they are already rigged from the game what you mean to ask is how to put IKs and its easy there is a lot of tutorials on youtube on how to setup Iks
but since ripping models form games the skeleton comes a bit messed up you will need to rename bones like Hand.L and Hand.R so you can use mirroring and fix some bones oriention

I've noticed some people decide to rig these,does that mean people have found a way to export the fbx with it's textures? Seems impossible due to incompatible surfaces that can't export/copy.

Oky a bit confusing on why you are exporting to fbx about Im guesing it is to put it in another program, but the reason it loses textures when you put the principal BSDF is because the models are using a custom shader to make the textures work. We are not exporting the fbx with textures but just setting the model using the custom shader (in blender)

Ripping tool doesn't allow for 4k texture ripping atm
The tool crashes whenever it tries to load them up

When Index gets a update I'll be updating all the textures to 4k, adding the combat knife and any other new content.
No, the game works using the A_ texture and CC's for free form colors (kinda like how Halo Infinite's stuff works)
So you will have to manually have to try to figure out how to get the Chapter you want

you probably don't need to that you can just put the color you want in blender and then bake them and put it on unity (I never did this so i dont know anything about) but thats how people do it with spartan packs

These are just the rigs that. Came in this pack, but i converted them into rigify
at the very least, the rig works
agreed, though generally i prefer fk arms and ik legs
you can always set up a IK/FK Switch
rigify just has that
i dont need to set it up it already works
unfortunately tho, some classes have diffrent rigs than eachother, so i might need to do this a few times which will take a while

because i used rigi-all it renamed the vertex groups while keeping the data, so i have to send over the rigs and the meshes

This specific cape model isn't in this pack, anyone have it? It's the 4th unlockable cape for the snipers. Only the backpack covering for this is in here

seeing some of playermodels on gmod and all that
