is it just shaders doing most of the work or more of a retexture kinda deal

Shaders are doing a majority of the work. The upscales just bring out detail that was blurry in the original textures and the upscaled normals sharpen edges, makes everything look cleaner(and technically dirtier.).
Having said that, if I were to put the original textures next to the upscales, there would be a noticeable difference in detail. The originals make the vehicles look more like artsy blobs, whereas the new ones bring out a lot of hidden detail that was already there. Scuffs, scratches, dents, chipped paint, etc.
So apparently I missed one because it was hiding in a different folder, so I'm working on it now.
The Banished Goblin has been added to the pack. It was buried inside the Grunt folder.
Made some customizations to the glass, make it look frosted as if it's cold inside. If you don't like the effect, it can be turned off by reducing the Roughness slider on the Glass BSDF to 0. And if you don't want the glass look, you can just remove the shader altogether.
I love the pack, but if a suggestion can be made, I'd name the materials, it's a good way to organise the model so you don't have the name of "Material.069"
that is a lot of work, on top of the amount of work that Halo Wars ripping is already

Oh for sure. Infinites Banshee is literally just a Reach Banshee essentially with armor plating bolted onto it. The HW2 design is more original and has the design of the H3 Banshee as a base.
There's definitely something to be said about Infinites designs being... simpler.
I've never really understood the hate the Infinite Phantom gets because it is basically identical to the Wars 2 Phantom. The main difference to me seems to be that the Infinite Phantom is missing those glowing pods on the front. That's it. I think what throws people off more is how it moves because it definitely looks stiff when it's flying through the air. Like it's traveling on a rail.

That's how I felt about Infinite's banished wraith. To me, it was like a simplified version of H5 Wraith reason why the face is so flat-looking. (If some of the fans liked that design, power to you) I liked HW2's design better imo
The Infinite Wraith once I stripped the armor off looks like a hybrid of the OG design and the Halo 5 design, but mostly the OG design.
But overall I also prefer the HW2 design
I found four files that I cannot delete because it said they're corrupted
It was the blister back, Phantom, the reaver, and spirit
Correction make that 5 Wraith is also corrupted even tho its icon said it has stuff it doesn't
Is it the Blend that is corrupted?
I honestly can't describe why
But I've checked the others are working but this one is for some reason isn't
Just downloaded the Reaver from my MEGA and tried it. It worked fine for me, and the whole folder deleted without a problem.
Everything works fine for me
Hi, do you know if I can use those textures in 3Dmax? I'm trying but they don't look the same as the blender
All the textures should work in Max, however to get the models to look correct you need the shader, which is Blender specific.
