Is there any way you could send over a dump of the raw files and textures? I have some from an old build but almost all the textures were broken at the time. @timid sun

For some reason for me the base textures don't load into Blender when I import straight from Adams

Yeah whatever compression those particular albedo maps use isn't readable by Blender.

Simply import the files in an image editor of your choice (Photoshop, GIMP, paint.NET, etc) and re-export. There's other tools for batching this process but it shouldn't be entirely necessary.

i used xnconvert to batch-convert the textures to PNGs instead of dds files

Being that it's just the albedo with this problem

also check if it says "udim tiles" anywhere

it likes to set the image texture to that with some of them and messes it up
