hello, I have a question. nothing really relating to this pack, more so I want to add something to it.
there is another spartan body type I would like to add to the pack, not for re-posting but for personal use for a character I want to make. its the "reach accurate female body" available in this server.
what im trying to figure out is how to I integrate the custom body into the section with the other body types?
the author of the "reach accurate mkvB" rigged the model but did not offer other armors to customize the model with, which makes character creation a bit of a headache to figure out. so thought i would ask the guy who made the legendary spartan pack for answers

weight the pieces to whatever rig youre using

take the pieces you want from this pack and copy/ paste them into the blend with the female body
once thats does parent them to the "female body" rig with empty groups then weight it from there
running into issues trying to load the textures
im running a rtx 4070 super, with a ryzen 9, and 32 gb of ram.
followed to correct steps to import the textures, file, external data, find missing files then selected the right folder containing all the correct info

Plans:
- Migrate all armour to HIMS 3.0
- Remove needless UV maps from meshes.
- Add MK VI GEN I
- Add new MK V[B] and MK VII pieces
careful of mesh normals, they can fuck up when you swap to 3.0
Iāll keep an eye out. Saw the same when it went from 2.7 to either 2.8 or 2.9

Add this to it if youre down, I did it myself already but only for an individual model. But having it readily available for others would be awesome

In animation we should have as many creative possibilities as possible to make the world we wish to create. If you don't like it, use an older version simple.
The editing for the chest in that upload requires editing every chest and hip attachment to accommodate the edited proportions
If you want to use it universally, but if you do it for only the reach model np. It's not even your pack, so what's the complaining?

Look man, the actual author was asking for suggestions. And I offered mine. If you don't like it, you're entitled to that opinion. Just as I'm entitled to my opinion. Dosnt mean he'll do it.
I already know how to set it up, and I was offering my criticism to make life easier for people who want to use the mesh. And if it DOSE get added, and if you don't like it, don't use it. Simple.
Also it ain't redundant if it's different. Redundant would mean repetitive.

Bro, creative possibilities, It's a spartan ass and hips lmfao, I dont see that as a necessary thing for creativity,
serious note, the only issue I see is the shader itself, This spartan pack has a shitton of duplicates shaders and that adds up because they arent swapped and new things keep getting added, which causes issues and time increases loading those textures even in Evee, which leads to lag, cpu bottlenecking, and crashing. Your female spartan has 3 materials, from what Ive seen arent on the same shader, this pack has more than 100, more is great, but its like Chunch said, a duplicated mesh with proportional edits
TLDR, It does have an impact opinionated or not and that adds up with this pack, unless its optimized, but that in itself is a lot of work and requires a lot more time to do

I think the new EKUR tool allows for the baking of textures so they can be used in other applications

any guide I follow loses me because I just cant do what the videos show or My blender is set up different and I cant replicate it. What do I do
