Guess the other depiction of Gray Team (also in the encyclopedia) depicts their modern armor (which is more boring than Jai’s old armor)

this art, as well as the one from The Cole Protocol, depict their Mk IV armour as of 2535

the other encyclopedia art likely shows them as of 2558

when they were rediscovered at Carrow

they had Mk V armour at that point

The only difference for jai between the mkiv and mkv is pretty much just the helmet and shoulder pads
