since they use old roblox versions that also means they use older versions of luau (or not even luau on even older versions) which don't support specific newer syntax features + there would have to be a bunch of checks to add backwards compatibility checks and alternative functions for older versions which would be painful, you're better off downloading an older version via GH or assetdelivery (&version=id) to get an older mainmodule and loader model
