#Command Permissions

sorry my brain is having a meltdown so you want to:
- make developers have solely developer-only commands, even though they are "developers" which means they probably have edit access to the game (i suppose, unless you have some security? like the creator only having edit access), this also means they wont be able to use mod commands (fly, god unless you changed the permissions of those as well)
- make admins not being able to use developer commands (which is fair, but then why put admins above developers??? an easy solution would be to put developers above admins)
yeah sorry i just dont understand this
also putting admins above developers while maybe they have edit access so they could edit it so they are above admins
and admins dont
👏
What the scalop
I’m not asking to be questioned on why I put admins above developers, when it was the owner’s request for me to do so. I’m simply asking how to make it so only specific levels have specific commands.
again this
Not by my PC at the moment.
So I have moderation permissions basically set up like this “command:100,150,250,900”; and developer command set up like this “command:199,900”;
From what I read in the settings about changing permissions, that should have worked, however developers have mod commands and admins have dev commands.
That’s not what it states in the picture Purple just sent.
2 diffrent things
When I removed the semi colons it just gave me a bunch of errors.
i mean like with assigning the commands to a rank you made no syntax eortros urself
errors
I know, that’s why I got confused, looked at documents, faq, other support stuff, and then finally made a support thing. I can recheck my script in the morning as its possible I made a mistake in there.
Boom
But I most likely didn’t.
I’m aware.
What does it show in your picture
I did that, and thats why I'm here
because it won't work.
yeah because it was only 1 in the table
@muted inlet am i blind or
is the guy silly
(this)
what
i do not see a single ; here
thats what happens when you dont read the full thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I read the full thing, you told me to put it like that
Bro what
so maybe stop talking to me like I'm an idiot. I set it up with the semicolons and it didn't work, thats. why. I'm. here.
I only showed you an example with ONE of the values
ONE VALUE DOES NOT REQUIRE A ; OR ,
or if the value is at the end
thats. crazy. bro. but. maybe. try. reading. the. comments. in. settings.Permissions
I did.
and did you follow the instructions?
@earnest jacinth me and ender already told you to put a ; at the end of every "value"
what do you not understand in that sentence
How are you not understanding me?
communication 101
I'm not an idiot, I read the notes.
WHEN DID I CALL YOU AN IDIOT
Your treating me like one.
As he sent one without semi-colons, however that is not the issue I am facing.
I just removed the semi colons to see if it does anything different, which is does not.
I had the semi colons in there before.
If you must see another picture, here you are.
Nope.
It just won't give the permissions correctly.
Sure. Do you want just a screenshot of the permissions or the whole script?
Sure.
(changed group IDs and group ranks by the way)
