As you can see from thescreenshot, I have 7TV, but I can't see the emotes (twitch, 7tv and other) here in the list or in chat.
How do I fix this?

try /refresh command

this command just refreshes all emotes - 7tv, bttv, ffz, and i hope twitch too

(That user’s message now only shows “still broken”)

Cloudflare DNS has already updated to the new 7TV route, while your ISP DNS is still cached.

That's how it was resolved

Thanks everyone for the help!!

How do I know when it will be updated?

¯_(ツ)_/¯

#

Until it starts working I guess

#

Not sure why it hasn’t updated yet

Hey, I've been looking for some info because I have the same problem described here (ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT) so I can't see either the 7tv emotes in my browser (chrome). I was wondering if, in our case, clearing the browser cache and data might fix this (I'd rather not do it since I have saved passwords and links) or if we should just wait for the DNS to update. ty!

Up to you

#

You can wait and it'll resolve on its own (idk when)

Okey thanks, I will give it a try anyway!

~~Btw now I have the emotes working even with the default ISP DNS. In case it can help anyone what I did was:

  • change DNS to 1.1.1.1 | 1.0.0.1
  • go to the old 7tv web and log-in
  • change DNS back to default by ISP
  • emotes still showing and I see myself logged in the old 7tv web~~
Nvm, after close and open thr browser emotes aren't showing again if you have the default ISP DNS lol
