First of all thank you for your services, chats would not be the same without 7TV, but we are experiencing bugs with emotes renaming by itself, i don't know if its a bug

But today the emote MAJ was renamed by itself to "ADHD"

then i removed MAJ and added the classic "ADHD" fixed for 5 minutes

Then after a while, the emote "NOWAYING" turned into "ADHD" then i removed "NOWAYING" and added it again

And now the emote "huh" renamed itself to "Surrender"

So the issue is emotes renaming itself and not even showing the rename on the logs, its not a cache issue because you can see the wrong name on the site like you can see it in the screenshot and there are no logs of it being renamed to that

then i removed maj and added the adhd = logs

then a few moments later "nowaying" turned into "adhd" = no logs

then i removed "nowaying" and added again = logs

then "earthquake" turned into "adhd" = no logs

i removed "earthquake" and added "adhd" = logs

and then "huh" turned into "surrender" = no logs

while i'm still waiting for reply, my guess is that this is due to origin feature - it's currently causing certain issues and I know arrow has that enabled, so if these emotes maybe have a match on an origin set it might be doing some strange things

did the renaming happen randomly or was it shortly after adding the emote?

maj to adhd was randomly for months and there are no logs of it

then i got perms and fixed it, removed "maj" and added "adhd" right one today

fixed, then a few minutes later it bugged again but with a different one now

"adhd" turned into "nowaying" without logs

i see, its not urgent i just noticed and thought about asking, because it bugged with another emote too

im not sure if you can replicate the issue but you could ask arrow to disable origin feature and see if it keeps happening

unless you're able to remove it, i'm actually not sure if editors have permissions for that

if there are more emotes like that you're gonna have to re-add them, renaming won't help as far as i know

if you cannot rightclick->use emote or disable in channel then im afraid not
