Paint Issue, or normal behaviours?

Is it normal that for my paint to load I have to type in my own channel? I find that whenever I start new session e.g; turn the pc on... If I type using 7tv fork for chatterino it defaults to any solid colour non gradient, same if I type in someone else's channel it doesn't load the paint. The paint only loads for me when I type in my own channel

• Forgot to mention that it has to be done in native chat, so any browser, doesn't work if I type in my own chat using chatterino.

your chatterino is either outdated or you disabled presence emitting in the settings

I'll take a look later and get back to you on that, I did a quick search in chatterino and couldn't find "presence" unless it's a 7tv setting? Afaik I should also be running the most up to date version but I'll clean install to be safe

can u give us your username or the channel that doesnt work?

I will do after I've tested the above but from my personal testing it only really applied if I type native in my own channel.

And make sure you’re using the 7.4.6 version

thanks that resolved the issue, may i ask though what activity does it sent to 7tv? just curious what i am consenting to with this ticked

It basically let’s other clients know that you have some cosmetics enabled

Every chat that uses 7tv cosmetics does this
