I've changed my name on twitch and it refuses to update on 7tv and I cannot change my display name or username on 7tv. Was subscribed for a month to see if I could change it and I could not. Is this a known issue? I can't seem to find anyone else mentioning it. Any emote i have uploaded and my account still have my old username. I've had a different username for months now and figured it might eventually fix itself but no luck.

Its not possible to change 7tv display name as it is separate from the platform name, with the new site coming soon it will correctly reflect platform names i.e. kick, twitch

i have the same issue. changed my name on twitch. but its not updating on 7tv. if someone wants to add me as an editor will they need to type in my old name (how it shows in 7tv currently)?

I have the same issue. I was also a sub on my old twitch name and now I cant access it. Can I get it migrated to my new name? Or how do I cancel it? I was a 1.5 year subscriber 😦

7tv display name is not twitch name, as long as you're 7tv profile is linked to the correct twitch account you're fine

any update on this? also should add that like, i had a 7tv account after i changed my twitch username so honestly doesn't make a lot of sense my 7tv display name wouldn't update with my twitch?

I have the same problem, I changed my name on Twitch a few months ago and it still hasn't updated on 7tv. That's not the only issue, the animated profile picture doesn't work... do you at least know how to get my profile picture to work?

i changed my twitch name a few months ago and ever since then my paint does not show in chatterino (others cannot see it as well) but it will still show in native chat. I've changed my name another time before this (like a year ago) and havent had this problem
