Twitch has a feature called wysiwyg (see figure 1), and when 7tv is installed, this no longer works (figure 2). I'm aware the carousel exists, but it'd be preferable to have the regular twitch feature instead.

These set of features are extremely unperformant
every time an extension inserts something it adds an incredible amount of lag to the site
in the future there we're planning to provide a better alternative
that doesnt require hooking the native one, but as for now it was decided that its too unruley
to beable to insert our emotes into it
we're talking noticible seconds worth of lag
just because of the frequency at which some methods get called in the input box
FFZ's emotes being inserted into slate will likely be reintroduced in 3.0.2
