While I think Apple is being needlessly... Apple for refusing to make USB C phones, I think I'd still rather have the possibility of better connectors

Right now I honestly think forcing Apple to put a better (at least arguably) connector on their phones is a good thing, but I can imagine a fairly likely scenario where, in like 10 years, the EU will still be forced to use USB C connectors on everything when the rest of the industry is using connectors with more features and faster speeds etc.

and that better connector would be effectively banned in the EU
