I reversed it IN gimp and it was all goog.

You absolute donk. We still can't upload the webps to 7tv, since it can't transcode them.
I can make webps myself with ffmpeg, but 7tv still needs to re-encode them
The other option would be to allow raw webp usage, where users could just upload webps (for all sizes) and use them without having to transcode them to each size. But I'm sure they don't trust 99% of users to use the lossy mode (not default) and upload in the correct resolutions.
