Emotes should have an background/lore or expression behind it that justifies it's use in the chat. AI emotes are just generated without any relation to the source. Even when the emote from the AI is "well made" it's absolute souless. You can't ask the creator why he made it that way. You can't ask for advise how to replicate it or make another version of it. It just got generated by a robot. I rather have some lidl emote that was done by a real human than some perfect AI emote. Don't get me wrong AI can be a great help and is probably a big part of the future but it will never beat real creativity.
