linux plays 60 fps almost perfectly for me

Both Chrome AND Firefox seem to have a limit at 90 fps. At 91 fps, they play the animations very slowly (or just so stuttery it becomes indistinguishable from a slower framerate; I'd need to test with more than 2 frames of animation lule)
I'm using official Nvidia drivers and KDE Plasma with wayland

Interestingly, Dolphin's integrated preview panel plays the webps at their actual framerate, all the way up to 144 hz (Probably higher but that's the fastest I can test)
with more consistent timings too. Alternating black and white frames at 144 fps look like pure gray with only occasional stutters.

must've forgotten the gif when I didn't have nitro for a few years
But IIRC it's always been that way for server icons at least
