or an orange filter, as if he's standing under a red light

you may need to reduce the contrast

make the overall color darker so that the nose stands out

maybe even add a glow to the nose

I hate to pixel complain but when the "shine" extends to the very edge, it gets cut off sharply. It's not really something to worry about, because it's not noticeable at 1x size, but if the very edges could be faded a bit, the transition from emote to non-emote would be less abrupt and obvious
