I got VIP tickets to the show! It'll be my second time meeting her - the first time was in 2015. My fiancé won't be able to make it with me, so I'll be flying solo. I've never gone to a concert by myself so I'm feeling a bit nervous. Hopefully I can meet some people I can get along with 🙂

I was a bit nervous for my first solo concert last August. You'll be around good company for sure.

I'll be driving to Colorado several days before the concert to sightsee. After this concert then I basically have to follow Lindsey to her next show because I'll be at her next one in Kansas City.

It's an adventure, but a fun one to go solo. I am proud of myself for having the courage to sign up for the Lindsey after-show M&G in Lincoln last summer. The whole trip was last minute too. I didn't even know I was going to make the 2 hour drive to go to the show until that day! Plus it was 103 degrees so that made it even more fun. 🤣

I've read several comments from people saying that Red Rocks is a bucket list venue. I'm really glad I waited for vacation planning for this summer until the tour announcement! This concert landed right on the week I normally travel!

Last summer my mom and I traveled around the southwest part of Colorado, made it to the four corners monument then drove through Utah all the way up to Salt Lake. Was a very pretty road trip!

Colorado is so fun

So excited! It'll be my third Lindsey concert, and my second with her at Red Rocks! Looking forward to Walk Off The Earth too, I watched them headline a Red Rocks concert, they're stellar. I almost made the drive to see them both in Casper WY as the closest venue to me last year, super excited to see that they're touring together again this year! A few quick tips for folks coming to Colorado - especially from sea level. You will literally be more than a mile high - Red Rocks elevation is 6,450 feet. The altitude affects some people at first - you may get a headache and will be out of breath more easily. The cure is drinking a LOT of water and a little time. It is so dry here that you'll want to drink a ton of water anyway. Good news is you'll feel any adult beverages a little quicker than at sea level 😜

The VIP check-in is at the top of the amphitheater, which means you won't have to do the "Red Rocks climb" until after the show to get back to your vehicle. Park up top - don't go to the lower lots. It's a special place to see a live show - Lindsey always comments on it. On the Artemis tour, Adina (her Manager) got proposed to on stage after we sang Happy Birthday to her...that was pretty cool.

It looks like (at least as of now, 6 days out...) we'll have good weather. It's 96 here today and will be 100+ for the next 3 days (YUCK), but next Wednesday's forecast is low 80's (aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh) with a chance for thunderstorms. Weather can get tricky in mid-summer here - we just saw Sarah McLachlan at Red Rocks and it was so windy they had to take down the LCD screens she had on stage. That was a first, but the show went on a little late with no issues and it turned out to be a beautiful night. So you never know...

I've got so much footage from both the concerts I went to... It's like where do I start?

Overall my Kansas City stuff came out better mostly because I was front row right in the center. Also my audio didn't come out the greatest at Red Rocks. Figured out that there was a setting I needed to turn off on my camera.

On that note...

The setting that says "Zoom-in mic"... I learned to make sure that setting is off.

Otherwise the audio sounds like you are in a box.

Yeah I figured so. Mindy told me before the Kansas City show there wouldn't be fire, which made since as there is no open back stage there at Starlight.

You are just used to Texas temperatures. It was actually quite pleasant I thought. We got lucky that the concert wasn't two days before when Denver hit their all time record high.

It was hot, but we are used to that here.

Well i mean like, it was comfy weather haha the rain didnt help. I was also getting over a sinus infection so my head was feeling like it was gonna explode

During the day it was warm but it was fine. At night i loved it

Going to Colorado during the summer is always fun during the hot months. I usually go there to escape the heat for a week. If it's still hot, just go up in elevation. 👍

I normally love the warm weather, but when it gets above 100... that's getting toasty. Although for Lindsey last summer I still did it when I went to see Brian perform with Lindsey in Lincoln, Nebraska.
