Haven't seen any reports of it not working. It is possible for an ant to come in at an angle and go right off the screen quickly so it is likely one was missed.

If you feel you've encountered a bug, you can submit logs in #troubleshooting-and-bug-reports and a member of the team can check it out when time allows. But most likely a bug was missed.

You have to squash the ants without missing a single ant for the achievement, it's not "not letting one exit the screen."

A lot of people get confused bc of that achievement guide, just squash the (10?) ants with only 10 hits, not missing a single one and you'll get it!

As soon as it's ready! The gaggle team develop quickly, and we release patches fairly often. We don't often give out firm dates because it's either going to be a lie if we're wrong, or it'll be a rushed product that might sacrifice quality for speed. This could translate into releasing something without sufficient testing and creating lots of bugs for the game.

If you find none of that explanation sufficient, as Herbert always says, today we are one day closer than yesterday.

It feels like the same people have been getting the same roles over and over, how come it isn't random?

The entire process is random, but it's very human to interpret patterns where there are none. If you had encountered a bug about the role assignment, it would be more likely to be an issue if it the results were absolute - For example, no player ever getting the Assassin in any of their games, or someone 100% of the time getting the Birdwatcher.
Players are also notoriously prone to exaggerate, and might interpret someone getting vampire three games in a row to being ten times in a row.
In short, the role randomization isn't bugged, your brain is bugged.

PS: I was asked to rewrite this and to also up the tone of hostility level from 2/10 to 9/10. Have fun playing GGD!

With the roughly 40 roles you could be offered in Draft mode player 1 gets randomly offered 3/40 roles. Player 2 gets 3/39 and so on. Since there can only ever be 3 Ducks selected, statistically they'll be gone earlier as people get offered one of the 13 or so Ducks (map dependent).

If everyone prior chooses a goose role then to ensure there are ducks in play, the remaining draft will display increased numbers of duck roles to ensure there are all teams represented.

Equally if the first players fill all available duck and neutral slots (either visible choice or via random allocation) then the remaining draft will only display goose roles to choose from

It does seem like Duck roles get bigger priority to be presented for people to choose from, rather than goose roles.

Like, 90% of the time I'll see the first 5 numbers receive a duck role, naturally making the others lose their chance at being duck since they would only have 3 chances ideally

Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. Just discussing. But if it's choosing between 23 geese roles and 4 neutrals with those 13 duck roles, the odds do seem to be tipped towards getting duck roles first despite the 13-27 chance

It is random - During beta testing I got all options at both the top and bottom of the draft. Even when player 1-5 when I’ve only had goose roles to pick I chose random and ended up with a duck or neutral. What is left in the bucket just depends on what other players choose.

I know more than once, I've been player 16 and offered only the dodo role. When I chose random instead, it still gave me dodo.

As for neutrals, there are 5 total neutral roles: dodo, vulture, falcon, pelican and pigeon. With draft, it's possible to have dodo twice, with the second changing both to dueling dodos. Also, falcon and vulture can't be on the same map as pelican (currently).

I've gotten player 1 w no duck (in choices n random) a few times n others have experienced the same, so it truly is just random. It's a common error to misjudge the probability of coincidences cause they doo happen a bunch.

If you're in a proximity lobby, there's a large number of ways to determine if a celebrity has died. Most of the time the geese will say things a specific way that pretty much just gives it away.

Listen carefully to what they're saying and how sure they are of certain things, is the best advice I can offer.

Often, when I'm sheriff and shoot a duck who had little to no evidence against them, it's is more because of evidence supporting other players, rather than evidence against the person in particular.

You could play the most perfect game ever, but there's no getting away from the fact that player A and B can corroborate X evidence and player C, D. E and F all have multiple alibis.

A very overlooked piece of evidence many players forget is time and pathing

As soon as it's ready! The gaggle team develop quickly, and we release patches fairly often. We don't often give out firm dates because it's either going to be a lie if we're wrong, or it'll be a rushed product that might sacrifice quality for speed. This could translate into releasing something without sufficient testing and creating lots of bugs for the game.

As a bonus tip, to weed out the mimic, both the security cameras activation task, and intercoms activation task on the space maps, and the light camp-fire task on jungle, are all tasks a duck can never be assigned.

But don't use that to hard clear anybody, because the Falcon / Pelican / duelling dodo or any of the other neutral roles can also have those tasks

Unfortunately there is not really any way to do that in the game as yet, although we are always trying to improve it.
Most streamers put a box or camera over the role icon.
However they can probably tell the role by the buttons shown

That said, we don't have many people stream sniping I believe

Let's say that when I am picking, 2 of the 3 neutrals are already picked. Let's say it was dodo and falcon. One of my options is dueling dodo. If I do not pick dueling dodo, can someone else end up getting vulture or pigeon, or do I now know the last neutral is another dodo regardless of how everyone else drafts.
