ah so we can take off enemy armor now?
already been discussed and it´s not a good idea
i just think itd be a cool feature. my bad you don't enjoy fun.
How so?
“Fooling” the enemy has been considered not fun, except for the guy doing it.
Since many gamemodes will have depth similar to Pavlov, it’s just the kids who want to role play and it always does not work. Similarly, having to assess if that guy is your teammate in the heat of battle can get really annoying, since people won’t trust anyone and not engage in teamplay
Then comes the issue with de-equipping armor
I Imagine you kinda imagined it to work only when the guy your are taking it from was incapacitated
This would get annoying for multiple reasons:
- players respawn with full armor anyways
- Where do you grab so that you don’t end up grabbing the ammo of the guy (which would be a more logical mechanic)
- When grabbing ammo or guns attached on the back of a guy, you would have to have a function so that the game knows you are not trying to grab the armor.
- To equip enemy armor, you would have to take off your own. This will happen accidentally in the heat of battle, when you don’t expect and don’t want it.

I Hope I made my point(s) clear
i mean enemy as in an NPC in sandbox. Say you have your stuff on and an NPC sees you, he attacks. You kill him, hold trigger and grip on him to remove layers of his armour and do the same for your armour. Then see another enemy and they will be friendly
So you are suggesting the armor de-equip controls to be grip and trigger button at the same time
That won’t work
The only way I could imagine it is if you hover over the guy and a prompt shows up with one of the A/B buttons that your thumb can access
And yea not in multiplayer
I think armor would be a good addition in any mode
But not taking it off when you want to
