Imo inventory should stay pretty simple (like bonelab/b&s)

should have a default that has room for tacticals/radio/knife.

i don’t want tabor/exfil type loadout stuff cuz it doesn’t fit well.

Ammo could be in an ammo pouch

knife/sidearms could go in one of side holsters.

Could have two bomb slots like vail on the arms or chest

Primary gun on extra chest slot but also two spots on back if you want a big melee or extra gun

If they add a survival gamemode or if the zombie mode is more survival/preparation focused i think an exfil loadout type would be perfect but so far the gameplay seems more arcadey than realistic, with realistic physics.

Imo a backpack system like Into the radius (I think it has a backpack system, completely forgot lol) would fit better than a basic system like what B&S uses, this whole game is very physics based and suppose to be realistic so I feel like a UI based inventory system would not be immersive or fit at all due to the nature of this game

Who said it was supposed to be realistic. Also me saying inventory i meant like holsters and stuff with the 4 spots and then add some spots like an ammo pouch, grenade/smoke spots, and a spot in the front for a rifle. Imo the main gamemode being a sandbox would make backpacks be very weird and i don’t think it fits. They could add a wider inventory system like that as an extra but that’s not what i was talking about in this post.
