If any developers decide to add any sort of armor in the game please and I mean PLEASE add different types and ratings of body armor. What I mean is that there are different ratings of body armor IRL such as stab resistant vests or IIA (which will NOT stop a lot of rifle rounds) to IV (which can stop certain rifle rounds from penetrating you). So if you guys decide to add body armor into the game please just make sure that there's not only one type of body armor that can deflect every caliber. I would love to see IIA armor be used as tissue paper if you shoot someone with a large caliber gun such as .50 BMG, instead of just doing what most games do and lowering the damage amount the player takes or absorbing all damage taken. As for different types of armor I'm talking about coverage such as vests that can only cover portions of your torso versus one of those juggernaut vests that cover your groin, torso, and shoulders. The same with helmets such as riot helmets with the face shield can prevent damage from minor projectiles like a hammer or knife but will not prevent any sort of bullet from killing you and kevlar helmets can protect you from shrapnel and small ballistics.

It wouldn’t really make sense to put it in the base game, a lot of effort for a game mode that’s barely going to be played.
Mechanics like this armor system would realistically be restricted to a certain game mode instead of being a game wide feature

If there’s mixing and matching then it could be its own separate mod that can be applied where ever
If there is no mixing and matching mods then something like this would be restricted to a certain game mode or loadout mod, like how contractors does it
