#Very in depth projectile behavior

its a game, with very very mind blowingly realistic ballistics uhh, thats bout it
im talkin details going all the way down to the bullets behaviour being affected down to the very threading of the barrel
Don’t think that is feasable here
why not? theres receiver 2 vr, the controls just stink
It does not add to the gameplay this game is proposing
As a separate mod mod/conversion yes
Immersion, no?
No. Realism does not equal immersion
Suuure
I think this should be good. Especially taking impact wound channels
I also want to suggest adding .22LR and if its gonna be added to make it good. Just because its a small bullet doesnt mean its bad
See this guy gets it
It will be much simulating work and performance costs for small effects the bullet spin can have on actual targets
So yes the concept of simulating this much is possible, obviously, but is it worth it
Ricochet direction will be effected by said bullet spin, in other words the Magnuson effect
And it would have a cool curve to the trajectory, you'd be able to do some pretty sick trick shots
And it doesn't even affect performance at all
Alsoo have you seen the work they do on other things? Much work is way outta the picture here
If I went to college itd be for ballistics
exactly, this game already is bound to have performance issues with all the content, adding stuff that most people won’t notice isn’t gonna be very beneficial
Based
But everyone loves small details? And it doesn't have much of a performance cost at all
it also goes quite the way for how kills feel
but when it comes out ig ill have to try modding it in and change yalls mind that way
it's unnecessary and doesn't add much. although I'm not against it I don't believe it needs to be focused on and as you say it could be modded in instead. also we musn't forget this is a video game. I for one would not enjoy my gun jamming and other "small details". instead I would rather focus on enjoying the game.
this gained a stupid amnt of negativity..
I believe I avoided negativity and only stated my opinions. Apologies if I came off rude.
