So, back in 2020, around Feb, it was my cousins 18th birthday. He was having a fictional character dressup party. I didn't know what to do and my dad had me scroll through a fictional character costume website, I chose a shitty ass Freddy Fazbear costume, I went to the tavern with my Mambo backpack on to put the sleeves in or mask if I got too hot in it cause it was like a weird ass onesie. I got hyperactive iwth my other cousins and adopted this 'persona'

I would crawl on the floor with my backpack, untying peoples shoelaces at the table if possible and anything that touched the floor got stashed in my backpack, I called myself the backpack Hermit

It’s our system name! When we realized we were a system, the only one around who cared to suggest a name was a fictive from a D&D campaign. The campaign was called Tides Change, and the party name had Wayward in it, so she suggested Wayward Tides, which was used until we found something better.
We never found anything better, nothing stuck like Wayward Tides, it was the name this system was called the very day plurality became a central part of our life, and since that day so many dear memories have been made w/ that name and it feels attached to those experiences.
